Lamella separator

The lamella separator or lamella separator effectively separates rapidly settling inorganic substances such as soil, sludge, or sand from your wastewater or process water. This capability makes it ideal for applications such as cleaning agricultural films.

Its compact design saves space compared to conventional settling tanks.

The funnel shape of the sludge hopper in the inclined settler directly produces compact sludge. After sedimentation, the system pumps the clear water into the buffer tank. Sedimentation is supported by chemicals such as coagulants and polymers, which form settleable flocs.

The lamella separator operates almost maintenance-free and is very energy-efficient as it has no moving parts. Additionally, IWAT offers the option to install the lamella settler in a container frame provided by the customer, simplifying integration into existing systems.
